Note by Bill Lingrell
Three Lou Gehrig alumni were named to the 2009 All-CVC team.
Kevin Burum played a single season for Lou Gehrig,
as a thirteen year old in 2004. Kevin has since grown into a dominant
pitcher who will play at St. Joe's University.
Joe Leone played for Lou Gehrig in 2005 and 2006.
This included his participation on the first Lou Gehrig team to
win a Section Tournament as the 14's advanced to the regionals in
2005. Joe is moving on to Widener University, as a Quarterback on
the football team.
Kyle Reed played Colt baseball in 2007 and 2008.
Kyle pitched for tournament teams that finished runner-up in the
2007 RBI Northeast Regional and won Lou Gehrig's first ever Region
Championship as he led the 2008 Colt All-Stars to victory in Albany,
New York.
Jose Garcia also has ties to Lou Gehrig, having
represented the league in Fall Ball in 2007.
